The MISSION of Lulu's Kitchen is to:
· Focus on balance, harmony and health through cooking
· Demystify ethnic cuisine · Create appreciation for culture through food, wine and history · Apply the "Under 10 Ingredients" rule for all recipes
· Encourage use of organic, fresh and accessible ingredients
Lulu Yang, the FOUNDER and EXECUTIVE CHEF of Lulu's Kitchen, was
professionally trained at the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena,
California and Hyde Park, New York. Lulu built her culinary business
based on the foundation of her 20 year management consulting career.
Trained also in Thailand, China, France, Italy and Australia, she has
designed and taught custom cooking courses for over 10 years.
Recently, Lulu appeared on Food Network TV's "Food Fight", where
she won the SF "John Dory Challenge". She was also featured in
"Shop with the Chef" as presented by the Center for Urban Education
about Sustainable Agriculture, in conjunction with Fine Cooking magazine.
