Do the poke poke bowl in just 6 steps

Want to have a fun poke bowl party? Do it easily with these 6 steps:

Step 1: Pick your base - Rice, lettuce or Chips

Tip: If you want the healthy aspect of brown rice but love the taste of white rice, I'd recommend getting Koshihikara Haiga rice. This sushi rice is milled to keep the germ of the rice and strip the outer shell and the Tamaki brand does not bleach the rice so you get all of the goodness of the brown rice nutrition but the great taste and ease of cooking of white rice.

Step 2: Choose your sides - Cucumbers, carrots, avocados, mango, watermelon radish, edamame, seaweed salad

Tip: Bring in the rainbow of veggies. Not only for color but thing about the variety of textures to add to the poke party!

Step 3: Pick your poke - Ahi Tuna, Salmon, Shrimp, Tofu

The most important part of the party. Make sure your raw fish is sashimi quality. For the tofu, pick the firm tofu. Let it dry on several sheets of paper towel. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and pan fry them until crispy.

Step 4: Top it off - Scallions, jalapenos, cilantro, pickled ginger, pickled daikon radishes, wasabi tobiko

Step 5: Select your sauce - Sesame-ginger soy, crispy garlic chili, Sriracha mayo, wasabi mayo

Step 6: Final Flourish - Togarashi, sesame seeds, Furikake, Hawaiian sea salt, edible flowers, hot honey

Add the final bit of umami to your bowl...can't go wrong with any of these options.

Encourage your guests to mix and match. Let me know which combination of goodies is your favorite!
