Welcome to Lulu's Kitchen v2.0


With the help of my social marketing guru (aka Dylan Whitfield), I finally updated my website after its initial launch back in the early 2000s. This is where I'll be sharing my edible memories and building my content for cookbooks that I've outlined but have yet to progress and practice my storytelling voice.


A little story to kick things off...This cover photo is a simple bowl of shrimp and pork wonton soup. What's special about it is not only the delicious handmade wontons but the bok choy shoots that are only available for about 4 weeks in the spring from Happy Boy Farms. The yellow flowers are from the mustard plants picked from Odette Winery after a fantastic wine tasting afternoon with friends in Napa Valley. You can find this recipe in my cookbook, "Shanghai Dragon's Journey West".
